but seldom is.......The sort of place thatís usually described

The whitewashed inn has stood in Bongate, the oldest part of
Appleby-in-Westmorland for over 300 years always providing
sustenance for the weary traveller.
The area is a
paradise for walkers and with so much variety it is difficult to
choose where to go, but be assured that when you return from a
hard day out, there is a warm and relaxing welcome awaiting you.
